- Adding eye-catching elements to shelves, bookcases and mantels
What?s more, many home stagers come with a large supply of items that they will place in your home to accent your home?s best features.
Here are some of the items that a stager may use to dress up your home?s rooms and maximize their appeal:
- Mirrors
- Plants
- Floor Lamps
- Throw Rugs
- Ottomans
- Afghans
- Inflatable Queen-Size Beds
- Baskets
Here are some more tricks of the trade that home stagers have shared with me:
- Applying orange oil to cabinets that may appear dry and worn. The oil will make them look newer.
- Setting out large bowls of fruit to make the home feel more inviting
- Selectively arranging colorful items in the kitchen, such as cookbooks.
When all is said and done, the staged home will appear warmer and more inviting to interested home buyers.
This will in turn allow home buyers to better visualize what it would be like for their own family to live there ? which is definitely something that every home seller should shoot to achieve.
