The Michigan Retail Association is hosting a ?Ludington Business Tune-up? Thursday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at House of Flavors in Ludington.According to MRA?s Susan Andrews, the event is a business roundtable designed to listen to businesses and their concerns.
The MRA has been conducting these around the state and she said different issues arise in different towns. Issues often brought up are marketing, the struggles experienced in downtown areas, how to use social media effectively.
The Thursday event will be led by John Leahy, MRA?s regional representative, but the idea is to have everybody who attends take part in the discussion, Andrews said.

Some local MRA members are Nader?s Shoreline Motel, Mattress Outlet, Orchard Market, Park Lanes, J.C. Marina and Cartier Mansion Bed and Breakfast and Conference Center.
Following the meeting, Leahy will be in town visiting with businesses and members, Andrews said.
